I woke up at 10:30 on Monday morning on the sounds of my mother shouting out if I wanted to go out with her because she was leaving. So, I got up, had a shower, got changed and had [French toast with honey] for breakfast. There wasn’t any one home because they were all at school and work so I just sat and listened to my I-pod until my mother was ready to leave. We got in the car and while my mum was driving we were talking about a lot of stuff, and one of them was me wanting to do volunteering work. It’s like helping disabled people and other stuff. Some of my friends started to do those things so I wanted to attend this program that makes us try and help with things like that. And I think that would really help me see the world from another view and at the same time it would make me appreciate the state I am in, and I would do something useful in my life by volunteering to do stuff like that. Our first stop was to the British council because I wanted to apply for the IELTS exam; it’s not that I think am ready for it. But I think that if I have a chance I should take it even if I may not pass. So I’ll try my best to skip level 8 and pass the accuracy exam. After that we stopped by at my mother’s friends house for a cup of tea, she’s sort of my mum’s best friend so it’s just like being in my own house, we talked about a lot of stuff and thinking where to go this weekend, and I was playing with her youngest child because she doesn’t go to school she was home.We left there and went to the cinema to watch a movie “that’s a mother-daughter time”. It means that my mum from time to time she takes each one of us out alone, and we have our own time with her, so it’s kind of fun. You feel like all lights are on you and you’re the important one for the day. I think it’s a good way because sometimes you want to talk about stuff but you don’t find the right time and when you’re alone with her, it’s the best timing to let your feelings out. After that we went home, we had lazania for lunch, actually we only eat rice and other local food when my father is home because he prefers it but at the meantime he’s on a business trip so we have all sorts of different food every day, but rarely Arabic, there mostly English, Italian, Mexican, Chinese….etc. my mum likes to try new sorts of food. Because am a really picky eater so she tries to satisfy us all. And normally after lunch we all gather and chat about a lot of stuff and after that we go to out rooms and do whatever we want. I spend most of my time on my laptop. So actually when I leave my room my mum says “OH! Hamda, you’re alive!! “Ha-ha, that’s because they never see me. But sometimes she gets upset she hates this routine me and my brothers get in. when we sit on our laptops all day and never talk to anyone. What do I do on the internet! I have no idea!! I spend more than 6 or 8 hours a day on the internet but at the end of the day I don’t get any use of it. I just sit and chat on msn with my friends, listen to English music, check the lyrics out, and sometimes I would enter some forums and try to discuss some topics that interest me with other people from around the world. Lately, I have tried this site called e-baby, it’s supposed to be about learning English and making friends, and it has chat rooms and other facilities that would help with English, but guess what! I found it was a mistake it didn’t do me any use. And people there aren’t really into wanting to learn. So I just left! Furthermore, I tried to fix my blog and couldn’t. After sitting on the internet for a long time I went outside in the garden and turned on my brother’s motorbike and I really don’t know how to use it so I ended up crashed in the wall. That’s how I hurt my leg a little. Went back in had a shower, had hot dogs and fries for dinner. Chatted on the phone with my friend and went to bed.
*PS: OMG! this is my longest post in this blog, but i guess because its about me! so i have alot to say lol , hope you enjoyed it ^_^ .
