My uncle came to the UAE 30 years ago and the UAE was mostly full of deserts and it didn’t have all the buildings and development that it has now, so he went back and everytime we told him to come, he would say no because he thought it’s still as sandy and old as before. But two years ago he had to come because of my sister’s wedding so he came alone for 4 days. And he was so impressed and liked it a lot. Therefore, He promised to bring his kids and wife the year after, Last year, my uncle john and his wife and two kids [Oliver and Daniel] came to visit the UAE, for the first time, and it was in February; it was really exciting, they came for two weeks. And they stayed with us in our house. We had our grandmother over too. She comes to visit us every year so it was good to have them all here at once. They loved the weather because it wasn’t that hot and wasn’t cold at the same time. My mother arranged for them to go on a lot of activities and places. They visited the emirates palace and had lunch there; they really loved it, because it’s so huge and unique. Also they went to a desert safari in Dubai they went on land cruisers on the sand dunes and the kids rode motorbikes, there were a lot of English tourists there so they really felt like they were at home. One day we all arranged to go to Alain for the day, so I skipped school and went with them, we visited the zoo, Alheely park and “almbzra” it’s a place where its full of green trees and grass next to the mountains it has playgrounds, hot springs and closed swimming pools. So the kids really enjoyed it, my uncle drove us up the mountain and we stopped up there and took pictures it was so cold and windy I could get blown away by the wind. After a couple of days of resting and going to the beach “ where they really enjoy “ we went to “MOE” mall of the emirates, while the older people went shopping, me and my sister took our cousins to the snow park, they played alot. We really had so much fun. So this was a really great experience for them and also for us. It was nice to see them since I haven’t seen the kids for like four years. And hopefully they will come this year too.
